Quarter 2 - Camille Saint-Saens - Carnival of the Animals
Students will be learning about the composer Camille Saint-Saens. He was a French composer and was very talented from an early age (he wrote his first song at age 4). One of his most famous works was a piece of Chamber Music titled "Carnival of the Animals". This song is split into different pieces or movements. Each movement represents a different animal. As the students study Camille Saint-Saens, they will look closely at a new movement each week. Check back to keep up with the animals they are studying!
